Saudi Arabia declares five staff members of the Iranian embassy as undesirable persons

Sputnik Doha, March 21 - The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that five employees of the Iranian embassy in Riyadh, including a military attaché, have been declared undesirable persons and are required to leave the country within 24 hours, due to Iran's attack on Saudi territory.

Previously, Qatar announced the expulsion of several staff members from the Iranian military attaché's office, accusing them of violating the principles of good neighborliness.

On February 28, the United States and Israel began attacking targets inside Iran, including an attack on Tehran, causing damage and civilian casualties. Iran retaliated by launching attacks on Israeli territory and U.S. military targets in the Middle East.
