AKI News Agency report: According to a reporter from AKI News Agency in Tashkent, the first container train on the "China-Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan-Afghanistan" route has departed.
According to O'ztemiryo'lkonteyner company, the freight train carrying 50 containers will pass through multiple stations in China, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan before ultimately arriving in Afghanistan. The cargo includes office supplies, solar panels, and textiles.
The announcement states that the new route will facilitate cargo transportation and strengthen transit functions in the region.
According to the plan, the next train will depart on May 30.
