Media: EU Calls for Preparedness to Directly Confront Trump
Russian State News Agency, Moscow, January 8 - According to the U.S. media "Politico", citing an unnamed EU diplomat, the EU has called on countries to prepare for potential direct confrontation with U.S. President Donald Trump over his territorial claims on Greenland.
The diplomat told the publication, "We must be prepared to directly confront Trump, who is firm in his stance, and we need to remain highly vigilant."
According to the report, if European governments had previously "not realized the seriousness of Trump's threat to annex Greenland," they now have.
