The Iranian President: Will Not Engage in Negotiations Under Pressure
According to Iran's Press TV, President Masoud Pezeshkian stated during a phone call with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that Tehran will not participate in peace negotiations under pressure, threats, or the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
Press TV reported in its Telegram channel message: "During his conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Pezeshkian reiterated that Iran will not join negotiations under pressure, threats, or blockades."
The Iranian president also said that, to restart dialogue, he urged the United States to remove all obstacles, including the blockade of the strait.
