BBC reported that on September 21, Canada, Australia, and the UK successively announced the recognition of the State of Palestine.

Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau announced through his "X" platform account that, starting today, "Canada officially recognizes the State of Palestine and is willing to work with the State of Palestine and the State of Israel to help both sides build a future full of hope for peace."

Canada is the first G7 country to recognize the State of Palestine.

Australian Prime Minister Albanese later posted that Australia has followed Canada's decision and recognized Palestine as a sovereign state.

He pointed out that this move is part of the joint efforts of Australia, Canada, and the UK, and will become an important component of the international action aimed at achieving the "two-state solution".

Australia became the second G7 member state to officially recognize the State of Palestine.

Subsequently, British Prime Minister Starmer announced that the UK officially recognized the State of Palestine. He stated: "Today, in order to revive the hope for peace between Israel and Palestine and promote the implementation of the 'two-state solution', the UK officially recognizes the State of Palestine."
