Trump: Iran Will Face Unprecedented Trouble If It Refuses to Negotiate
Former CIA Analyst: Military Refused Trump's Request for Nuclear Strike on Iran

U.S. President Trump pledged that Iran would face unprecedented trouble if it refuses to negotiate with Washington.
Speaking to radio journalist John Fredericks, Trump said: "They will negotiate; otherwise, they will face unprecedented trouble."
Trump expressed hope that Washington and Tehran could reach an agreement. He also promised that in such a scenario, Iran would not possess nuclear weapons.
Earlier, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that Iran would not negotiate with the United States under threats.

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson claimed on his YouTube channel "Judging Freedom" that the military rejected Trump’s request for a nuclear strike against Iran.
"A White House meeting report shows Trump wanted to use nuclear weapons," the expert said. "Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine stood up and said: 'No.' … So, very, very strange things are happening in Washington."
He believes this unpredictable strategy by the U.S. leader only delays the prospect of a peaceful resolution in the Middle East.
"You know, Trump has problems… He claims Iran has already agreed, peace is coming, a deal is imminent. All of this is just to manipulate stock markets and commodity markets. But none of it is true," Johnson concluded.
On February 28, the U.S. and Israel launched multiple strikes inside Iran, including attacks on Tehran, causing damage and civilian casualties. In response, Iran carried out retaliatory missile strikes on Israeli territory and U.S. military targets in the Middle East.
On April 8, Washington and Tehran announced a two-week ceasefire, but subsequent negotiations held in Islamabad ended without results. There has been no news of renewed hostilities so far, though the U.S. has begun blocking Iranian ports. Mediators are attempting to facilitate a new round of talks.
