U.S. Treasury Secretary Doubts on Reaching Tariff Agreement within 90 Days
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Buchholz said he was skeptical of U.S. President Donald Trump's claim that a final tariff agreement would be smoothly signed with major trading partners within 90 days.
In an interview with Yahoo Finance, Buchholz said, "Let's set China aside for now! There are 15 major trading partners. Excluding China, there are still 14, and we are quickly working to establish processes for these 14 partner countries, most of which have significant trade deficits. Is it likely that we will get a complete, ready, and comprehensive formal document within 90 days? Not really."
