The Russian Minister of Agriculture, Oksana Lut, told Tass that due to the situation in the Middle East, most of Russia's overseas partners have requested increased supplies of nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers.
She said that several countries, including Ethiopia, have sent relevant procurement requests, and Russia is currently conducting negotiations on these matters.
Meanwhile, Russia has proposed signing long-term supply contracts with its partners for a period of three years. Experts believe this model helps stabilize global fertilizer market prices and strengthens Russia's position as a key fertilizer exporter.
Brazil, India, and China remain Russia's major fertilizer buyers, while import demand from African countries continues to rise. Experts point out that European countries and the United States still rely on Russian fertilizer supplies.
