Hazakh police hold a warning talk with a vlogger who caused controversy by filming pranks in China
Kazakhstan International News Agency report: Almaty police held a warning and explanatory talk with citizen Aruzhan Aibekova, who recently returned from China.
This talk was related to the video content she filmed and uploaded to social media during her trip to China, which later spread widely. These videos have generated significant attention and controversy in both Kazakhstan and Chinese online spaces.
One of the videos shows her taking a phone from a companion's pocket and handing it to a passing Chinese citizen, then accusing the person of stealing the phone. In another video, she approached unfamiliar men on the street and at subway stations, touching their hands or legs. These actions caused discomfort and confusion among those around her.
In the talk, Aruzhan expressed regret for the incident. She said:
"My videos were not intended to offend anyone. They were materials released without careful consideration. If the videos caused any negative impact on anyone, I sincerely apologize. In the future, I will be more cautious about content posting."
The police reminded that when posting content on social media, one should respect the feelings of citizens of the country and foreign countries. Such behavior may be seen as provocative and could lead to negative social reactions.
The police also emphasized that every citizen abroad should respect local traditions, public order rules, and the laws and behavioral norms of the host country. Violating these norms may result in legal liability from the host country.
