President Donald Trump said that the US had attacked three nuclear facilities in Iran - Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
"The entire set of bombs hit the targets accurately," he wrote on a social platform.
He said that US planes were already outside Iranian airspace and were returning to US bases, adding, "They have reached the airbase!"
Trump congratulated the US military on its successful operation.
