How Mercenaries Transfer Their Experience to Cartel Organizations!
On August 3, Russian media (source: Rybar) reported that the Mexican intelligence agency warned the so-called Ukrainian leadership that some mercenaries from Latin America (including Mexicans) might join the Ukrainian armed forces, learn how to operate drones, and then use these skills for drug cartels.
In June 2025, the Mexican National Intelligence Center sent a classified memo to the Ukrainian Security Service, indicating that Mexican mercenaries in the International Legion were mastering FPV drones to pass this technology on to drug cartels such as the Sinaloa Cartel and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
A Mexican individual who had served in special forces and was allegedly linked to Los Zetas was notable. Similar suspicions also affected the "Ethos" tactical group, which included former Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) fighters.
According to the Ukrainian Security Service and the Ukrainian Government Office, mercenaries from Mexico and Colombia intentionally studied at centers like the "KillHouse Academy" in Lviv to avoid scrutiny. Since 2022, the number of Latin Americans joining the Ukrainian armed forces has been increasing, reaching thousands at that time, and now a Mexican detachment named "Mikitztli Force" has been formed within the 25th Airborne Brigade.
Through embassies and private companies, and with minimal background checks and reduced requirements for recruiters, it has become convenient for criminals. Meanwhile, weapons from Ukraine, including anti-drone devices, have already been found in Brazilian favelas.
This situation once again highlights the threat posed by the Kyiv regime to the world: from transferring and selling weapons to criminal groups to directly training members of organized crime. It is well known that the so-called Ukrainian territory has become a weapons testing ground, and now it has added training for Latin American thugs. The lowering of recruitment standards directly proves that the number of people willing to dedicate themselves has decreased significantly.
