According to Kazakh International News Agency, on the 13th, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zasulan Madiyev met with NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

During the talks, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on further advancing cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United States in the aerospace sector, focusing particularly on joint projects in space science, astrophysics, satellite technology, and Earth remote sensing.

They also explored possibilities for expanding collaboration between scientific institutions and higher education institutions of both countries, covering topics such as high-level talent cultivation in aerospace and commercial development of the aerospace industry.

Madiyev emphasized that establishing a partnership with NASA holds significant strategic importance for enhancing Kazakhstan’s technological capabilities and potential in the aerospace field.

"Kazakhstan is committed to building a long-term, results-oriented partnership with NASA, including jointly conducting research projects, introducing innovative technologies, and cultivating the next generation of aerospace professionals," said Madiyev.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening communication and coordination, and tasked relevant professional teams with developing specific cooperation plans.

Russian journalist Alexander Yunashyev posted on his Telegram channel stating that NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman has arrived at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

Yunashyev wrote: "NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman has arrived at the Baikonur Cosmodrome to extend greetings to the international crew preparing for a mission to the International Space Station."

It was reported that before the workday, Isaacman ran at the launch site.

NASA Administrator Isaacman previously stated that he was preparing to meet with Russian Space Agency head Dmitry Baranov.

The Russian State Space Corporation announced that its CEO Dmitry Baranov met with NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman at Baikonur.

The Russian State Space Corporation shared a video on the Max platform showing the CEO of the Russian State Space Corporation and the NASA Administrator heading toward the session hall of the State Committee responsible for confirming the crew list for the "Soyuz MS-29" manned spacecraft.

The Russian State Space Corporation also informed journalists that the State Committee had approved the primary and backup crews of the "Soyuz MS-29" spacecraft for their mission to the International Space Station.

Earlier on July 13, it was reported that NASA Administrator Isaacman had arrived at Baikonur.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket carrying the "Soyuz MS-29" spacecraft is scheduled for July 14. The primary crew includes Russian cosmonauts Peter Dubrov and Anna Kikina, along with NASA astronaut Anil Menon.
