Foreign Media: China's Permanent Magnet Exports Surge, Driven by Policy Relaxation and Overseas Demand
China's permanent magnet exports reached 5,577 tons in July, hitting a six-month high, with a 75% increase compared to the previous month, continuing for the second consecutive month. This trend is related to China's commitment to accelerate the approval of permanent magnet export licenses.
Permanent magnets are widely used in fields such as electric vehicles, wind turbines, smartphones, aircraft, and spacecraft. The European Union is the largest buyer, importing 2,140 tons, accounting for 38%, with a 57% increase compared to the previous month, continuing to strengthen after a threefold increase in June.
Among them, Germany ranked first among individual countries with 1,116 tons, up 46% from the previous month; the United States came second with 619 tons, accounting for 11%, with a significant increase of 76% from the previous month, also achieving two consecutive months of growth.
