Satellite News Agency, Riyadh - During the Saudi Arabia Innovation Industry Exhibition, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov told reporters that Middle Eastern countries have shown interest in Russia's fifth-generation fighter jet Su-57E.

Alikhanov answered the question of whether Middle Eastern countries are interested in the Su-57E fighter jet, saying: "Yes, without a doubt."

He added that this fighter jet is currently one of the best in the world,

Alikhanov pointed out: "And it has been tested under combat conditions. There is great interest in it. In fact, we have already signed relevant contracts, but I will not disclose specific details."

The Su-57E is a fifth-generation multi-role fighter jet developed by Russia, used to destroy various aerial, ground, and maritime targets. The Su-57E was first unveiled at the 2025 India Aerospace Exhibition, generating significant interest.

On February 6, Alexander Mikhayev, President of the Russian Defense Export Company, told Sputnik News that the company's orders already include several supply contracts for the Su-57E fighter jet, and negotiations are underway regarding local production.
