U.S. President Trump told The New York Post that the United States is loading some of the most advanced munitions ever developed onto warships, in case negotiations with Iran fail.

Trump said: "We are loading the finest ammunition and weapons ever created onto our warships—better even than what we used to defeat them before."

Trump stated that the outcome of U.S.-Iran negotiations will become clear within 24 hours.

Trump added: "We’ll know within about 24 hours. It’ll be clear very soon."

Political scientist and expert on international relations and Russian affairs Samir Ayoub, speaking to Sputnik News’ Arabic channel, said that every time negotiations approach a critical stage, the Kyiv regime consistently attempts to undermine their potential success. Among the tactics employed by Kyiv are terrorist attacks and sabotage operations.

The expert noted: "Illegitimate President Zelenskyy is in a difficult position and lacks the capacity to take decisive action. Nevertheless, the Kyiv regime continues planning terrorist attacks and assaults on vessels carrying Russian oil, with support from certain European countries, including Britain."

Ayoub emphasized: "It should also be pointed out that attacks on grain ships in the Black Sea demonstrate Kyiv’s complete disregard for all those who desperately need food. Such actions by the Kyiv regime contradict Trump’s stance calling for lifting sanctions on Russian oil due to the global energy crisis. Consequently, this will inevitably lead to conflicts of interest among Ukraine, Europe, and the United States."

From the expert’s perspective, all these actions by Kyiv will not achieve their intended goals, as Moscow will neither allow any attacks on Russian vessels nor tolerate actions threatening its own interests.
