After Israel attacked Iran, Iran has retaliated with two waves so far. The first wave involved releasing 200 drones, and the latest wave reportedly launched over 100 missiles. Outsiders may find it exciting, but insiders can see it's just a performance, a way to vent emotions.

Firing 200 drones and over 100 missiles at once is a large-scale operation with many targets, making it easy for Israel to concentrate its defenses and intercept most of them, thus having limited impact. The real threat to Israel comes from the Houthi forces. A sudden attack with one missile would put Israeli society in a state of long-term high tension, preventing normal life.

Missiles are expensive, and few countries can sustain frequent missile retaliation. Iran's large-scale retaliation is difficult to maintain and is merely symbolic. The Houthis also face a problem due to their weak strength; they cannot launch attacks frequently. Given Iran's capabilities, if they adopted the Houthi approach—dividing these 100 missiles into one per day and releasing drones in small batches at different times throughout the day like the ongoing conflict in Ukraine—it could last for three or four years. Would Israel be able to withstand such pressure?

I can clearly understand this situation, so do you think Iran's decision-makers don't understand? They choose not to do so because they lack the determination to completely sever ties with the West.

If this is how the retaliation ends this time, there really isn't much hope left for this country.
