Foreign Media: China has officially launched an international cooperation project aimed at building a three-dimensional satellite network connecting Earth and the Moon.
This network will break through traditional two-dimensional observation methods, enabling three-dimensional monitoring of the Earth-Moon space environment, providing more accurate data support for future deep-space exploration and aerospace activities.
The project will involve at least five other countries as partners. One of its key tasks is to continuously track solar activities, including solar flares and coronal mass ejections, enhancing early warning capabilities for space weather and reducing their impact on satellites, communications, and navigation systems. Meanwhile, the network will also observe some of the most powerful explosive phenomena in the universe, such as gamma-ray bursts, helping scientists delve deeper into extreme astrophysical processes, further exploring the origin, evolution, and operational mechanisms of the universe, and driving international space science and research cooperation to a new stage.
