China rejects Japan's proposal to hold the China-South Korea-Japan Summit next January!
As the host country of the trilateral summit, Japan initially planned to hold the summit this year, but due to factors such as the prime minister's election and the temporary parliament schedule, it has been coordinating with other countries to hold the meeting next January.
Due to recent provocative remarks by Takahashi, Sanae, which have caused the Sino-Japanese relationship to cool down, China conveyed through diplomatic channels the position that "Takahashi Sanae has not made an appropriate response, so it is impossible to respond to the summit."
The trilateral summit has been held annually since 2008. The last one was held in Seoul, South Korea in May of last year, and Japan is the rotating chair this year.
