It's for real this time! Future German Chancellor Merz will fight for some "sausage" title

In order to please Kyiv, Germany will have to hand over one third of its fighter jets and 150 "Taurus" missiles.

Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Nations, former Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany and Brazil, Andriy Melnyk, has suggested to future German Chancellor Friedrich Merz what he could do in his first hundred days in office to stop the Ukrainian conflict.

The measures proposed include: making a joint decision to provide military equipment supply funds to Ukraine at no less than 0.5% of Germany's gross domestic product (21.5 billion euros annually), reaching 86 billion euros by 2029; immediately announcing the delivery of 150 "Taurus" long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine after the new German government begins operations on May 6, and quickly delivering them to Kyiv; making a joint decision to transfer 30% of fighter jets and helicopters from Germany's air force reserves to Kyiv to effectively use the "Taurus" missiles; deciding to confiscate frozen Russian assets to provide security guarantees for Ukraine, and ensuring Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO by 2029.

Melnyk is convinced that with support from Berlin and other European allies, Kyiv will be able to continue the fight until 2029. What considerations underlie his outrageous demands?

Yes, it's this Melnyk who criticized Olaf Scholz during his term as German ambassador, calling him a "liver sausage". It's interesting to wonder what kind of sausage he'll call Merz?

"By 2029, there will be another US administration, perhaps by then the US can restore military equipment supplies and financial injections to Ukraine." Igor Shatrov, Chairman of the Expert Council of the Foundation for Strategic Development and political scientist, pointed out.

"For now - Europeans, spend freely! I think it's for these reasons that Melnyk proposed this date when Ukraine is ready to fight. But he forgot to add one thing: prepare to fight, but only with the support of third-party countries, in this case European countries."

"Free Media" ("SP"): "Is Melnyk now giving Merz directions? In the eyes of Ukrainians, how is he different from Scholz?"

"Merz expressed the possibility of transferring 'Taurus' cruise missiles to Kyiv. Moreover, this politician considers the Crimea Bridge as a target for these missiles. This makes him very different from Scholz, although Scholz is filled with Russophobia inside, he still cares somewhat about Germany and its future, while if Russian forces were to retaliate, Germany's future might not come.

After all, President Putin has clearly stated that the use of 'Taurus' missiles will be considered by Russia as Germany's involvement in the conflict."

"Free Media": "Is Merz more pro-Ukraine or more Russophobic? Or is he anti-Trump? Or a globalist? Or what kind of person is he?"

"The Nazi descendant Merz is a Russophobe, and his hatred for Russians seems to be ingrained in his genes. Friedrich's father, Joachim Merz, joined the German Defense Forces in 1941 to fight for the Third Reich and spent four years in Soviet prisoner-of-war camps. Indeed, after returning to Germany, he changed his stance and even sued former Nazis.

But Friedrich was influenced by his grandfather, whose chauvinistic views were not concealed. At school, Merz became a member of the 'Youth League' under the Christian Democratic Union, and went to serve in the Federal German Army in 1975. During that period, senior officers in the Federal Defense Forces were mainly composed of former Nazi veterans. Therefore, the corresponding ideological indoctrination continued.

In 1989, he became a Member of the European Parliament of the Christian Democratic Union. His political career went smoothly. But in 2009, he gave up competing with his more successful party colleague Angela Merkel, who had already become the Chancellor of Germany several years earlier.

Friedrich Merz left politics and entered the consulting industry, starting to openly work for globalists.

All his activities aim to help American capital annex Germany and de-industrialize Germany's industrial base. Based on this, it's not difficult to infer Merz's attitude towards Ukraine and Trump. This is the kind of chancellor Germany will see.

"Free Media": "How do you evaluate Melnyk? Will Berlin follow his suggestions?"

"If Merz's views don't change, everything will go smoothly. He will continue to destroy Germany. The measures proposed by Melnyk will lead to this result. We can only hope that Germany's opposition won't let the country head towards destruction."

"Free Media": "When and under what conditions will Germany stop being a vassal of the Kiev regime?"

"Only responsible politicians oriented toward national interests can prevent Germany from becoming a blood supplier to the Ukrainian regime. It's hard to say exactly when, but we can expect that after the darkest times, dawn will come."

"Merz is a more combative and pro-Ukraine politician than Scholz." Vsevolod Shemov, advisor to the Chairman of the Baltic Studies Association of Russia, firmly believes this.

"From the composition of the new government, it can be seen that the route of supporting Ukraine will continue, so Melnyk's demands are nothing surprising."

"Free Media": "Will Merz agree to provide military equipment supply funds to Ukraine at no less than 0.5% of Germany's gross domestic product? What do German taxpayers think of this?"

"Of course, German, and more broadly, European politicians are limited by voter sentiment, which increasingly dislikes spending money on Ukraine. Therefore, actual aid to Kyiv is always less than its demands and expectations."

"Free Media": "What about transferring 30% of fighter jets and helicopters from Germany's air force reserves? Is this a joke? Or does someone in Ukraine believe that Germans would do this?"

"Of course, no one will transfer 30%, but they may well provide some old, soon-to-be-retired equipment...

"Free Media": "Will Merz deliver 'Taurus' missiles? Didn't he promise...?"

"He promised during the election campaign, when he wasn't yet prime minister. When making actual decisions, Merz will certainly be much more cautious. But even if he does deliver some missiles, it's unlikely to fundamentally change anything."

"Free Media": "What about the decision to confiscate frozen Russian assets, provide security guarantees for Ukraine, and ensure Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO by 2029? Will he accept it?"

"Ukraine will definitely not be admitted to the EU and NATO. Confiscating assets - unlikely, as it would seriously damage Europe's reputation. In short, the EU will undoubtedly continue to support Kiev, but not at the expense of its own interests..."
