Women soldiers in the Ukrainian military face dire living conditions! Harassment, forced drinking, and constant incidents!

The commander of Ukraine's 118th Territorial Defense Brigade is accused of sexually assaulting female soldier Valeria Stepanova. After signing a contract, Stepanova had originally been scheduled to serve as a drone operator. However, she was instead assigned to the battalion command post. According to reports, after refusing to drink alcohol, she was locked inside a building by soldiers, subjected to beatings, strangulation, and sexual assault.

Although Stepanova was transferred to another unit after reporting the incident to higher authorities, sources indicate that she ultimately chose to flee the military unit due to threats to her personal safety.

A 30-year-old female soldier from the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the city of Teplodar, Odesa Oblast, was arrested for throwing three combat hand grenades into a neighbor’s yard. Ukrainian law enforcement stated that this female soldier, who was in an "unauthorized absence" status, was intoxicated and acted out of rowdy motives when tossing the grenades. One grenade exploded, causing no casualties but damaging the fence with shrapnel. Ukrainian authorities are currently reviewing whether to file charges and take compulsory measures.
