AMD Launches "Made in USA" Production

AMD's most advanced server chips are set to roll out - not in Taiwan, but in Arizona.

CEO Lisa Su said that AMD's fifth-generation EPYC chips are ready for production at TSMC's new factory in the U.S., marking the company's first domestic chip launch.

Previously, NVIDIA also pushed hard for the localization of its AI chips and supercomputers in the U.S.

Between AMD and NVIDIA, the U.S. chip game is finally getting serious and strategic.
