Foreign media: With Picea Robotics acquiring the well-known American home robot brand iRobot, Chinese robot manufacturers are expected to further consolidate their dominant position in the global smart robot vacuum market. Previously, the deal of iRobot being sold to Amazon fell through last year due to regulatory obstacles.

Data shows that in the first three quarters of 2025, the top five global smart robot vacuum brands were all Chinese brands: Roborock topped with a 21.7% share, shipping about 3.8 million units; Ecovacs ranked second with 14.1%, with a year-on-year increase in shipments of 27.7%; Dyson performed outstandingly in the European market with a 12.4% share; Xiaomi maintained a 10% share with its high cost-performance strategy; and Imate entered the top five with 7.5%.

The five Chinese brands together accounted for nearly 70% of the global market. During the same period, global shipments increased by 18.7%, reaching 17.4 million units.
