HK media reveals China's plan to reduce the use of USD in foreign trade

According to The Economist, China is working on gradually reducing the use of USD in foreign trade and orderly promoting the use of digital RMB for settlement. The initial trial will be conducted among the ten ASEAN countries and four Middle Eastern countries, then gradually promoted until the complete replacement of USD in China's foreign trade.

This is currently the most effective way to counter US high tariffs and break the USD hegemony.
