The Russian Ministry of Defense has released a list of targets in Kyiv subjected to large-scale strikes, while Ukraine's State Emergency Service has published photos of buildings on fire in Kyiv following massive attacks.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian forces carried out large-scale strikes on Ukrainian defense industry enterprises, fuel and energy complex facilities, and military airport infrastructure. These strikes utilized long-range precision weapons launched from air, land, and sea platforms, as well as attack drones. The Russian Ministry stated this was a response to Ukraine’s attacks on civilian infrastructure within Russia. It emphasized that the main targets included facilities in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, as well as military airport infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Kyiv oblasts.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, multiple electronic, aviation, and missile manufacturing enterprises in Kyiv were struck. Among them is the "Radio Engineering" scientific production base, which produces control systems for cruise and tactical missiles, including the "Flamingo," "Firepoint-7," "Firepoint-9," "Neptune-MD" missile systems, and the "Klon" project anti-aircraft missile system.
The Russian Ministry also reported strikes on the "Atlon Avia" company, which supplies the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the "An-196 'Fury'" long-range drone, "Magura UA" attack drones, loitering munitions, and other unmanned systems. The report also mentioned strikes against the "Antonov" enterprise. The Russian Ministry noted that this company's production capabilities are used for developing and manufacturing manned military aircraft, as well as assembling and upgrading the "An-196 'Fury'" long-range drone.
In addition, the Russian Ministry claimed it targeted the Kiyv Missile Components Assembly Plant. According to the Ministry, this facility carries out modernization of tank and infantry fighting vehicle targeting systems, produces optical sights and guidance equipment, and provides components for reconnaissance and attack drones. The Ministry added that integrated circuits and micro-assembled components produced at this plant are used in Ukrainian air defense systems, electronic warfare equipment, and aviation assets.
After the air raids, Ukraine's State Emergency Service released photos showing buildings ablaze across the city. In the first few days, they claimed one of Russia’s oil tanks had been hit—causing widespread celebration among Ukrainian authorities. Internet memes featuring commemorative postage stamps emerged, but now they are quickly releasing images of destroyed sites to appeal for global sympathy! There truly are similarities between Nazism and certain extremist feminist ideologies!
