Currently, China-Europe freight trains depart from many Chinese cities and arrive in Azerbaijan successively. Some China-Europe freight trains pass through Azerbaijan and then head westward. The volume of goods transported by these freight trains is continuously increasing.
Aliyev pointed out that Azerbaijan has consistently supported the Chinese proposal to jointly build the "Belt and Road Initiative" from the beginning, and has continuously improved its cross-border transportation and logistics infrastructure for this purpose.
Additionally, Aliyev also mentioned that Azerbaijan and China have recently carried out cooperation in green energy, and relevant agreements have been signed, including the active participation of Chinese enterprises in the implementation of the solar power plant project in Azerbaijan.
