Russian authorities stated that the first batch of 1,212 Ukrainian military personnel bodies have been transported to the exchange zone, but Ukraine did not receive them and did not explain the reason, also indefinitely postponed this exchange. Meanwhile, Russia also submitted a list of 640 Ukrainian prisoners of war (including those who are seriously injured, seriously ill, and prisoners under 25 years old) to Ukraine, but Ukraine did not submit a corresponding list of Russian prisoners of war to Russia, nor did they explain the reason or the subsequent exchange date. Russia urged Ukraine to quickly accept the fallen soldiers' bodies and complete the prisoner exchange agreement reached in Turkey.

Red Star TV of Russia released a video of the refrigerated trucks transporting the first batch of 1,212 Ukrainian fallen soldiers' bodies and stated that due to Ukraine's refusal to accept them, these refrigerated trucks carrying Ukrainian soldiers' bodies are currently only parked in the Bryansk region. The Russian side plans to use three trains to transport the remaining Ukrainian fallen soldiers' bodies, intending to transfer more than 6,000 fallen soldiers' bodies to Ukraine.

In my opinion, Ukraine is first uninterested in the fallen soldiers' bodies, and secondly has not prepared the 640 Russian soldiers for exchange, thus unilaterally violating the agreement reached in Turkey. I think Ukraine's authorities went too far; no matter what, they should at least first accept the fallen soldiers' bodies and hand them over to their families so they can be properly buried.
