Former South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has completed the interrogation and has been sent to Seoul Detention Center!

Former President Yoon Suk-yeol, who is suspected of abuse of power and other charges, and was applied for an arrest warrant by the special investigation team, has completed the substantive interrogation around 9:00 PM on July 9th.

According to regulations, Yoon Suk-yeol was directly transported to Seoul Detention Center by a transport vehicle, where he will be held pending the court's judgment.

Chief Judge Nam Se-jin of the Seoul Central District Court began the trial today at 2:15 PM, lasting approximately 6 hours and 40 minutes. Yoon Suk-yeol made a 20-minute closing statement at the end of the trial. When leaving the court, Yoon Suk-yeol remained silent and refused to give interviews to the media.

The judge Nam Se-jin will announce the verdict tonight or early tomorrow morning. If the arrest warrant is approved, Seoul Detention Center will immediately proceed with the detention of Yoon Suk-yeol.
