China's first import of cheese from Russia

Russia has imported Chinese cheese for the first time. According to a report by RIA Novosti citing China Customs data, the import volume was 8 tons, valued at 93,000 U.S. dollars.

The report did not reveal the specific cheese variety. China not only produces European-style cheese, but also unique local cheeses, including those made from water buffalo milk and yak milk.

According to previous reports, China purchased the largest batch of gold in bilateral trade history from Russia in November.

In October, Russia's gold exports to China reached 930 million U.S. dollars. According to data from January to November, the total amount of gold imported from Russia by China has already reached 1.9 billion U.S. dollars.

This data set a historical record during the observation period, nearly nine times the level of the same period last year.
