China-Kazakhstan Cooperation: Multiple Chinese-funded Projects to be Implemented in Kyzylorda Oblast, Covering New Energy and Food Processing

(Reported by Kazinform) According to the Prime Minister's official website, Deputy Governor of Kyzylorda Oblast Ardak Zhebeshev announced on Friday that the oblast will launch 10 new investment projects utilizing modern technologies.

It is reported that the implementation of these projects is expected to create approximately 400 local jobs.

All projects are funded and constructed by Chinese investors.

The main areas involved in the projects include: building a brick factory, launching production lines for paper, cardboard, mirrors, as well as constructing three solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 90 megawatts.

In the food industry, plans include starting production of bread, pasta, and confectionery products, while also conducting in-depth processing of camel milk, rice, and salt.

It is understood that these projects are being promoted based on agreements signed during the visit of the oblast governor to four provinces in China. The total contract amount reaches 10.8 billion tenge.
