Fu’s main points are as follows: First, in the face of Hung’s anger, Fu did not choose to confront him head-on; instead, he claimed that Hung had worked hard. But the issue is this—while Hung has been working hard, how could Fu undermine Hung’s efforts by skipping an important meeting? How can Hung advance his agenda under such circumstances?

Second, Fu argued that the DPP does not respect the "Legislative Yuan," refusing to co-sign resolutions passed by the Legislative Yuan, demonstrating arrogance and disrespect for basic procedures. Yet, did Fu himself uphold procedural integrity when protesting the DPP? His absence was unjustified and unapproved—this is clearly a fatal flaw. In response to the DPP’s disregard for rules, the proper approach should not be to abandon rules oneself, but rather to lead by example in upholding them.

Third, Fu claimed that each bill passed by the Legislative Yuan is extremely difficult, and he couldn’t bear to see it being mistreated by the Executive Yuan under DPP rule, so he chose a soft approach to express serious protest against the executive branch’s indifference toward legislative authority. But if Fu truly intends to protest the DPP, why didn’t he notify others in advance instead of making last-minute decisions? Why didn’t he consult with other Kuomintang legislators instead of acting unilaterally?

Evidently, after Hung’s outburst, Fu was merely trying to calm things down. Setting aside other political stances, Fu’s excuses are far from solid. The cross-party consultation framework was painstakingly built by Hung, and as the head of the Kuomintang caucus, Fu’s failure to communicate beforehand, no notification, no delegation of proxy, and outright absence effectively dismantled the entire mechanism. On one hand, Fu laments Hung’s tireless efforts; on the other, he personally undermines the platform Hung established to mediate disputes. Can Hung possibly accept such a statement?
