The notice stated that according to the relevant provisions of the "Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award Measures" and the "Implementation Rules of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award Measures," the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award Person Award Review Committee has completed the review of the 2025 Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award for Outstanding Young Scientists in Zhongguancun. The review results are now being publicly announced.

Among them, Wei Dongyi from Peking University is listed in the list of candidates for the "2025 Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award Review Committee Review Results Directory for Outstanding Young Scientists in Zhongguancun." The nominators are Wen Lan and Wang Shicheng - both mathematicians and academician members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Wei Dongyi was born in Jinan, Shandong in 1991, and he is from Dongyang, Zhejiang. During his high school years at Shandong Normal University Affiliated High School, he won two gold medals with full marks in the 49th and 50th International Mathematical Olympiads.
