On May 6th, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated that, after consultations between both sides, China and the European Parliament have decided to synchronously and comprehensively lift restrictions on mutual exchanges.
Lin Jian said, "In recent years, due to well-known reasons, exchanges between the legislative bodies of China and Europe have encountered some setbacks. Under the current circumstances, both sides believe that it is very important for China and Europe to strengthen dialogue and cooperation."
