Golden naked sculpture of Trump unveiled at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, titled Orange Plague
According to Der Spiegel, a 2.5-meter-tall golden nude sculpture of Donald Trump by Danish artist is on display at the European Parliament’s public area in Strasbourg, titled Orange Plague. The statue depicts Trump standing atop a man’s shoulders, wielding an unusually long golf club, coated in 23-karat gold, and will remain on view until Thursday. The exhibition was facilitated by Danish left-wing politician Poul Klaussen, who stated that those unable to tolerate such artistic expression are unworthy of international prominence. Accompanying text inscribed on the piece offers a metaphor: one who rides upon others’ backs, claiming to assist, yet never descending. As of now, Trump has not issued any public comment regarding the sculpture.
