Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 12,
at the plenary session of the 11th St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, stated:
People in the future world will cherish love and friendship, and there will be no selfish people!
"We believe that the future world is not a world of egoists completely immersed in cyberspace,
nor a world of loners following the principle of 'each man for himself.'
It is a world of people who still value love and friendship, cherish their families, understand the close connection between themselves and society,
and take responsibility for it."
Putin also pointed out that many cultural development projects of the Russian Federation are focused on the "Family" national project.
It is within this unit of society that our identity and national character take root.
The president believes this helps to address population issues,
and creates conditions for young people's self-actualization and the cultivation of "decent citizens."
He added that on this issue, "there is still a lot to be done."
The president emphasized that humanity needs to adapt to new realities while maintaining the roots that support them.
