The Russian military's T-72B3M main battle tank was hit 24 times by Ukrainian FPV drones and suffered one mine explosion, yet it maintained its combat capability and completed the task of destroying Ukrainian defensive fortifications and supporting the Russian forces advancing in the Zaporozhye direction.

According to Russian media, a T-72B3M main battle tank from the 42nd Guards Motor Rifle Division was equipped with a mine roller on the front of its hull to carry out mine-clearing operations in the Ukrainian minefields on the frontline, creating a passage for Russian infantry riding motorcycles. As soon as the T-72B3M tank entered the road, it began to be attacked by Ukrainian FPVs. When the T-72B3M tank approached the forested area on the road, the number of Ukrainian FPVs attacking it increased. In some areas, the T-72B3M tank was simultaneously attacked by 4-5 Ukrainian FPVs. At the same time, mines under the mine roller were continuously detonated.

After traveling a long distance, a mine severely damaged the track of the T-72B3M tank, making it immobile. Three crew members managed to evacuate while using the dust and smoke from the explosion, and then fled to the nearest forest. The Russian tank crew wore specially designed thermal imaging raincoats, and were not detected by Ukrainian reconnaissance drones all night. At dawn, the crew of the damaged tank safely evacuated to the nearest Russian position with the support of Russian drone operators.
