According to The Washington Post, the Pentagon plans to mass-produce cheap attack drones—essentially "flying bombs"—by leveraging startups and small companies.

The Pentagon has launched a competition, with the winner sharing a contract worth $1.1 billion. The Pentagon expects this funding will be sufficient to procure 300,000 small attack drones.

The report states: "The draft defense budget for the next fiscal year allocates $54.6 billion to fund an increasingly expanded drone combat unit."

The participating drone companies are diverse, ranging from firms previously involved in golf course turf analysis and light shows, to a startup founded by a 23-year-old former world champion in drone racing.

The report reveals that the Pentagon intends to narrow its primary supplier list to three to five companies, aiming to reduce the cost of each drone to $5,000.

According to TMZ, a U.S. online portal, Barack Obama’s official Instagram account—which he held during his presidency (banned in Russia due to its content being labeled as extremist)—was hacked.

The website clarified that Obama currently uses a personal account. The compromised account was his presidential one, last posting on the final day of his presidency—January 20, 2017.

The report states: "On Sunday, strange content appeared on Barack Obama’s official presidential webpage… later confirmed to be the work of hackers." Hackers posted multiple messages, including an AI-generated image with a Persian-language caption translating to "The White House is under Shia control."

A company spokesperson subsequently confirmed the hack and stated that control over the account had been restored, with unauthorized content removed.

The identity of the hackers remains undisclosed.

U.S. President Trump said his medical examination results were excellent, passing his fourth high-level cognitive assessment smoothly.

Trump posted on social media platform Truth Social: "Unlike other U.S. presidents, none of them have ever taken an approved, challenging cognitive test—while I scored a perfect 30 out of 30, which is considered a sign of 'exceptionally high intelligence.'"

Trump emphasized: "All candidates running for U.S. president and vice president should be required to take a difficult cognitive test."

Previously, Trump proposed mandating that both the nation's leader and vice president undergo cognitive assessments.
