China Plans Six Measures to Hit Back at US Hegemon
Trump threatened and blackmailed China yesterday, claiming that if China does not withdraw the 34% retaliatory tariff on the US by Tuesday, then the US will impose an additional 50% tariff on Chinese goods on April 9 local time. This would mean that the US will have levied a total of 104% tariffs on Chinese products, leaving less than 24 hours for China to consider.
China has made serious responses and warnings, stating that if the US insists on engaging in a tariff war or trade war, China will see it through to the end.
In an article posted on the WeChat public account "Ode on the Lute," the deputy editor-in-chief of Xinhua News Agency mentioned that China has prepared at least six countermeasures:
One, significantly increase tariffs on US soybeans, sorghum, and other agricultural products.
Two, ban US poultry imports into China.
Three, suspend Sino-US fentanyl cooperation.
Four, countermeasures in the service trade sector.
Five, ban import of American movies.
Six, investigate the benefits US companies gain from intellectual property in China.

In one sentence: negotiation is possible; if it comes to a fight, we will respond accordingly! We don't provoke trouble, but we are not afraid of it!
The Trump administration seems to be engaging in a high-risk "game of chicken." Some countries and regions are scrambling to curry favor with the White House to end this game. However, threats and blackmail are not the right way to deal with China, and Trump has miscalculated!
