The Dutch government's takeover of a chip company has raised concerns among its Chinese parent company.

Foreign media: After the Dutch government took over chipmaker Nexperia, its Chinese parent company, Guotai Junan Technology, warned that the move poses a "threat to survival," with hundreds of job positions in the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK at risk. Currently, about 80% of the final chip packaging and testing is completed in China. If the Sino-European business is cut off, the company would lose most of its production capacity, which would be difficult to make up in the short term.
