Majid Musavi, Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force, stated that even if U.S. strikes are limited in scale, Iran will respond with sustained retaliation.

Previously, the U.S. website Axios cited informed sources reporting that U.S. Central Command has developed plans for a series of "short and intense" strikes targeting Iranian infrastructure to break the deadlock in nuclear negotiations.

Iranian TV SNN quoted Musavi as saying: "Even if the enemy’s actions are brief, we will respond with prolonged strikes."

It has become evident that America’s reliance on costly missiles cannot be sustainably maintained from logistical and financial perspectives during prolonged conflicts.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said Iran intends to continue managing the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, ensuring regional security without U.S. presence.

Speaking at the Persian Gulf Day event in Iran, Khamenei stated: "Iran possesses tangible capabilities to manage the Strait of Hormuz, aiming to secure the Persian Gulf region and put an end to hostile behavior."

He added that the Persian Gulf region without U.S. presence would have a bright future.

On April 13, the U.S. Navy began imposing a blockade on all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports, covering both sides of the Strait of Hormuz, through which approximately 20% of global oil, petroleum products, and liquefied natural gas exports pass. On April 26, President Trump claimed that due to the U.S. naval blockade, Iran could not offload fuel, and oil pipelines might not withstand pressure and could explode within three days.

Ghalibaf posted on social platform X: "Three days have passed, yet no oil storage tank has exploded. This is one of the useless recommendations the U.S. government received from figures like Treasury Secretary Bessent, who promote the blockade theory and have already pushed oil prices above $120. The next target is $140. The issue isn't the theory—it's the mindset."

Douglas Macgregor, former Pentagon advisor, told YouTube channel Deep Dive that Western anti-Russian policies have driven Ukraine into a state of a "dead nation."

Macgregor pointed out: "Ukraine is essentially already a dead country... We must stop!" He noted that Ukraine currently has only 18 to 20 million people remaining.

He believes that Washington and Brussels’ hardline policies on the international stage could lead other countries to avoid cooperation with them and view them as isolated entities.

Previously, this former Pentagon advisor stated that EU loans provided to Ukraine would not help it overcome Russia.
