U.S. President Admits That France's Attitude Toward the U.S. Is No Better Than China's!
U.S. President admitted that the attitude of French leaders toward the U.S. is even worse than that of China. On November 10, the president reiterated in an interview with Fox News Channel that the U.S. government would not prevent Chinese students from coming to the U.S. to study, "because I want to live in peace."
The host reminded the president, "Chinese are not French," and implied there are issues regarding intellectual property rights between the two countries.
The president countered, "Do you think the French are better? Really? What I want to say is, I'm not so sure. We have a lot of problems with the French. They tax our technology unfairly, and they impose a 25% tax on American products."
The president later emphasized that many allies benefit much more from trade with the U.S. than China does.
