President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said that he is considering developing nuclear weapons for Brazil. This statement was made during a press conference held jointly with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, who was on a state visit to Brazil. Lula said: "We view South America as a peaceful region, where there are currently no nuclear weapons.
