Russia's imports of vacuum cleaners from China hit a record high, ranking third after Germany and the United States
After analyzing data from Chinese customs, Sputnik News found that in April this year, Russia's import value of vacuum cleaners from China doubled compared to the same period last year, reaching a record high.
In April, Russia imported vacuum cleaners worth $69.3 million from China, setting a new record. This represents a 110% increase compared to the same month last year and a 21% rise compared to the previous month.
The largest category by volume was robotic floor sweepers, accounting for 55.5% of total imports, with an import value of $38.4 million.
Data shows that in April 2026, Russia ranked third among major global importers, behind Germany ($164.6 million) and the United States ($89.7 million), ahead of the Netherlands ($60.5 million) and the United Kingdom ($48.8 million).
