Prime Minister Wong Wai Keong pointed out that he saw this quality in China's system and firmly believed that China would continue to develop better.
During his visit to China in December 2023 as Deputy Prime Minister, Wong Wai Keong emphasized "never bet against China's strength"; when responding to related questions from Chinese media, he reiterated his confidence in China's development prospects and his vision for the development of Sino-Singapore relations.
This year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Singapore and China. Wong Wai Keong pointed out that since entering politics, he has deliberately visited China almost every year, and his exchanges and meetings with Chinese counterparts have always been fruitful. He described this visit to China in his new position as "highly meaningful".
