Japan and the United States have released a list of potential projects, revealing for the first time the specific initiatives that the U.S. investment mechanism valued at 55 billion dollars may fund. This mechanism is one of the core components of the bilateral trade agreement. Lutnick said at the signing ceremony in Tokyo that the selected projects involve well-known companies such as SoftBank Group, Westinghouse Electric, and Toshiba. The scale of individual projects ranges from 350 million dollars to as high as 100 billion dollars. This move is seen as a key step in deepening U.S.-Japan economic cooperation and promoting investments in high-tech and energy sectors.
