According to previous reports from "Defense Industry ST," currently, under the "Kaan" plan, three prototype aircraft are expected to be produced before 2026, with the second and third aircraft currently being assembled.
In earlier plans, the technical status of the "Kaan" Block-10 batch was scheduled to be developed and delivered to the Turkish Air Force by 2029. The second phase would involve producing at least 10 "Kaan" Block-1 batches and delivering them between 2030 and 2033. However, the Turkish Air Force claimed that TAI has advanced the initial delivery node to 2028. The third phase, originally scheduled for technology status development and production activities for subsequent updates of the "Kaan" series from 2034 to 2040, has been revised by TAI to 2030.
Turkey previously revealed in December 2022 that if progress is smooth, after 2029, the "Kaan" fighter jets will be delivered at a rate of two per month.
