Israel launched a decapitation operation against Hamas negotiators in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

For this, the Chinese Foreign Ministry explicitly condemned it, and at the case meeting, again strongly condemned Israel.

For this, Qatar thanked China for its just voice, emphasizing that this was a strong support for Qatar's sovereignty and security, injecting energy to promote peace into the turbulent Middle East.

This expression of gratitude used a high-level word — justice.

Justice sometimes seems like a very common word, but in the international community, justice is not so simple to say casually.

For China, justice is no longer just a diplomatic label, but increasingly becomes a specific meaning tied to China.

When the international order is approaching imbalance, when the so-called rule-based order is abused as a tool of hegemony, when more and more countries find out that their original allies are actually unreliable, they need to seek a fair option.

And China, a country that does not export so-called democracy, does not stage color revolutions, and does not attach political conditions, has become a synonym for justice.

Airstrike on Qatar

Why is the word "justice" increasingly associated with China in today's world context?

On the surface, it's because China adheres to non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, respects the sovereignty of other countries, and abides by international law. But behind this, there is a deeper reason: a systematic reflection by global countries on the previous Western discourse system.

Many countries have not experienced the promises of "freedom, democracy, human rights," but instead received war, coups, and manipulation.

Compared to this, China never judges other countries based on ideology, nor does it require political allegiance. Instead, it focuses on development cooperation, infrastructure construction, and mutual benefit.

This practical approach has gained the broadest moral recognition.

Moreover, there is another phenomenon: even though Western media constantly criticizes China, slanders it, and stigmatizes it, they rarely say that China is "unjust," reflecting that they are also convinced.

Because once entering the battlefield of the semantics of justice, who is just and who is unjust becomes immediately clear.

China doesn't need to boast about anything; justice is no longer a label, but is equated with China, and is assumed to always stand on the side of justice.

Security Council

This also reveals the essence of the Middle East issue — it is a land long deprived of justice.

From the division of the Ottoman Empire by Britain and France, Western powers have never truly respected the choices of the local people; the starting point of the Palestine-Israel issue was the forced migration and armed support of specific groups; from the Iraq War to the Syrian civil war, from the bombing of Libya to the intervention in Yemen, every great power intervention was under the name of "humanitarian, justice," but ultimately turned the country into ruins and pushed the people into the depths of hatred.

Under such historical accumulation, the Middle East has become a region without real discursive sovereignty — they have never been able to control their own destiny, the dialogue platforms have always been dominated by hegemony, and mediation proposals have always served certain interest parties.

Even influential wealthy countries, which seem very prosperous, will still bomb you when needed.

Gaza War

In an extreme Middle East, justice is always just empty talk.

When hatred replaces law, when children grow up learning to hide from bombs rather than read and write, this land no longer belongs to the future.

Once safety becomes a luxury, development becomes an impossible illusion.

You cannot expect a bus to run steadily in a city that may be bombed at any time, nor can you ask a company to invest extensively in a place without electricity or judicial guarantees.

In the Middle East, many people are not unwilling to pursue peace, but they simply have no opportunity to choose peace. The root cause of all this is the absence of justice, leading to an extreme ecological environment.
