Sputnik News, Moscow, February 22 - The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that the Iranian authorities have designated the air and navy forces of the European Union as terrorist organizations.

On February 19, the EU Council officially listed the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry's Telegram channel stated: "All naval and air forces of EU member states, these organizations are designated as terrorist organizations."

The Iranian Foreign Ministry pointed out that this is based on the "Law on Retaliatory Measures against the US Recognition of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a Terrorist Organization," and explained that the law also stipulates measures against other countries that support the US decision.
