Mongolia and China Exchange Views on Natural Gas Pipeline Project
UB Prensa de Mongolia, April 16 - Adviser L. Choi-Ish of the Ministry of Industry and Mining Resources received a delegation led by Qian Xingkun, Director and Secretary-General of the Economic Research Institute of China National Petroleum Corporation.
During the talks, both parties exchanged views on cooperation in the oil sector, oil product trade, exploration research, as well as the natural gas pipeline project passing through Mongolia.
Qian Xingkun introduced the work situation of the research center and expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Ministry of Industry and Mining Resources to facilitate their cooperation.
Adviser L. Choi-Ish stated that during the visit of Prime Minister R. Oyun-Erdene to China, he met with Chairman Dai Houliang of China National Petroleum Group and exchanged opinions, which was an important step in expanding and developing cooperation in the oil sector between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of mutual benefit and win-win outcomes and solving problems together, expressing willingness to work together to expand and develop cooperation in the oil sector, take it to new heights, support relevant policies, and conduct effective practical work.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Mining Resources, representatives from the overseas investment environment research center of the company, the natural gas market research center, the exploration and production research institute, and CNPC Dachintam Sag Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.
