Russia has approved the conceptual plan for its module of the China-Russia lunar station!
The head of Russia's State Space Corporation said that China and Russia have 13 additional lunar exploration partners.

The head of Russia's State Space Corporation stated that the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) has approved the concept for Russia's portion of the international lunar research station jointly developed with China.
"The international lunar research station project with China is progressing. The Russian Academy of Sciences has approved the construction plan for Russia’s segment," he said during a session of the Federation Council.
Russia's State Space Corporation signed a memorandum in May 2025 with China National Space Administration regarding the development of a power station for the international lunar research station.
Russia's State Space Corporation previously stated that the station will conduct fundamental space research and verify long-term unmanned operation technologies, laying the foundation for future human presence on the Moon.
He also said: "We have our own federal program, which specifically includes all our lunar-related activities with China, and we will implement them together."
"In our collaborative projects with China, there are a total of 15 countries and regions. Besides Russia and China, there are 13 other countries."
