A Ukrainian soldier codenamed "Mucinoi" posted an article on his Telegram channel titled "Almost everything is over" complaining about the situation. For months, he has been relatively objectively describing the combat situation on the front line, and has actually become a military blogger. Mucinoi's assessment of the situation is completely different from Zelenskyy's bold statements, but often aligns with reality.
Mucinoi wrote that the situation in Hulyaipole is "crumbling before our eyes." If this continues, the Russian forces will soon enter Huliaipole. He also criticized the Ukrainian command again, stating that the Ukrainian command has lost control of the defense area in Hulyaipole. Communication between units has almost completely broken down, coordination is a farce, operations are chaotic, and orders are either delayed or not delivered at all. "The staff reports are just superficially positive and not an accurate assessment of the situation. Because of this, frontline soldiers do not receive support, cannot carry out proper rotations, and lack logistical support."
Mucinoi is convinced that the higher-level Ukrainian command should now come to the scene to assess the real situation. Emergency measures must be taken, including the resignation of officers responsible for the increasingly deteriorating defense system.
However, the situations Mucinoi described have already occurred on other fronts. Zelenskyy and Hillsky have both visited Pokrovsk (Red Army City), which not only failed to help, but also had the opposite effect. In Ukraine, there has long been a bitter joke: whenever Zelenskyy visits any fortress and takes a photo with a signboard inscribed with the fortress's name, it means that the fortress will fall into Russian hands within a short time.
The Russian Eastern Group continues to rapidly advance in the east of Zaporozhye. Within just four days, the Russians have broken through a 10 km deep and 20 km wide Ukrainian defense line. After capturing Hulyaipole, the Russians will be able to reach Olihov (Kuban) from the northeast and attack the rear of the Ukrainian Olihov defense line, which would threaten the collapse of the Ukrainian Zaporozhye front.
